Patronage will also be able to assist in the restoration of the castle itself. Indeed, the floors, currently closed, require immediate renovations in order to reinforce the building’s structure, restore its floors and roof.
The reconfiguration of the castle’s different floors will also provide an opportunity to expand exhibition and reception spaces.
The 1st floor will welcome works from the Essonne department’s contemporary art collection with thematic itineraries changed over the course of the seasons. A space in order to read and learn about the Estate’s history would round out the visit.
The 2nd floor will be dedicated to artistic workshops and activities.
The cost of these renovations is estimated at 10 million euros. This restoration will be possible thanks to the generosity of its donors.
